Trenčín Castle

The Ľudovít Palace houses a permanent exposition of Cold and shooting weapons of the 13th through 19th centuries, and an exposition of Contemporary heraldic work in Slovakia. Exposition of Family gallery of the Ileszhazi as well as paintings from the Ileszhazi mansions of the middle of the 16th century to the first third of the 19th century are located at the Zápoľských Palace. The summer tower holds an exposition called “Distant past of Skalka nad Váhom” that remembers the hermit traditions of St. Benedictus and Svorad, as well as archaeological findings of that site. Exposition of the Coats of Arms of owners, holders, and captains of the castle is located in the Matthew’s tower.
